No cable

I went 9 days without cable and Internet and I seriously thought I was going to lose it.
How did we ever survive? I got to unpack and organize which, lets face it, if i had cable and Internet shit would still be in boxes.
So i am going to start trying harder to post more and be more interesting/ relevant (ha! fat chance).
I am sad to see Senator Ted Kennedy passed away. He was a great leader with an incredible spirit and love for the people of this country. RIP.
And DJ AM. Damn. What the hell is going on this year? So many people dying this summer. And it's just one after another. Why must good people die and D-bags like Joe Francais live on? Hmm?
I went to Hooters last night with friends. If your Hooters isn't in a college town (like the one I went to) YIKES. Old ladies old enough to be my grammy working in there. Every dude looked disappointed. We had the youngest on the bunch wait on us. She said she was 24 but she looked 44. She had painted on eyebrows. WHY? Why the chola girl eyebrows? I just felt like pinning her down to the table and sharpie'n a tear drop on her face. And she must have been part geisha cause her face was chalk white while the rest of her body had obviously been rolled in cheeto spray tan.
The poor girl was nice. She told us right away she was a shitty waitress and would probably get our order wrong cause she hadnt worked in a week and she forgot how to do some stuff. Seriously.
Ok enough about that.
I have de-friended some people on my facebook who have said ridiculously racist things about President Obama. If you don't like him- fine. But please have respect and not resort to racial slurs. That is one thing I will not tolerate. If anyone, and I mean , ANYONE who writes to this blog says anything homophobic, racist or sexist you will be banned/blocked and depending on the severity of what is said- i can forward any threats to the FBI. I do not take this shit lightly.
Better yet don't even bother commenting on my blog. Then we both save ourselves the hassle.
On a lighter note- I went and saw Funny People and i loved it. I am a huge fan of Jonah Hill and Seth Rogen. And I like how Aptow keeps it consistent with his actors/ actresses. I am a HUGE Freaks and Geeks fan. That show is literally one of the best shows I have ever seen. And everytime I watch it i get really sad because it only lasted one season. What talent there was on that show! If you haven't seen it- netflix it. You will not be sorry.

I think this might be one of the worst days of my life.

Car issues, moving issues, child issues, assholes everywhere in general. My whole day has been nothing but disaster. I'm working on 2 hours of sleep, my nerves are shot. I need a stiff drink. And a sound proof room to just scream my head off.

What do you do when you are overcome with life's little bullshit? Do you take a drive? Do you listen to screamo music? Do you work out (ugh not one of those people)?

I tend to listen to angry chick rock i.e Alanis "Jagged Little Pill" or Hole. I am tempted to just try and drown myself in my big bathtub (ok not really but still).
